The Wolves, led by Senior Co-Captain, Keithan Gregg, claimed their 13th Divisional Championship in the past 14 years. For the first time the Divisional tournament will not have a direct bering on the seeding at this year's State tournament.All Class B/C 8oys teams will field teams at full strength for the 2004 State Tournament, in Missoula, Montana. The Cut Bank boys, for the second year in a row, captured the top 4 places in singles and the top doubles at this year's Divisional. Final Divisional Scores were: Cut Bank Wolves - 44 **** Conrad Cowboys - 14.The Lady Wolves finished in a tie for 3rd at Divisionals. Final Scores in a much closer Divisional for the girls were: Fairfield - 29 **** Choteau - 20 **** Cut Bank - 17 **** Conrad - 17. The Lady Wolves, a young team of 3 juniors, and 5 sophomores qualified Jessica Jacobsen and Melanie Rice in doubles for the State Tournament. Jacobsen/Rice took top honors and claimed the championship in doubles with some very powerful doubles play.The tournament was held in Choteau, Montana on courts that unfortunately were built East & West making early morning and late afternoon matches rather difficult to play.Final tournament brackets can be found by clicking on the links below.
