| Melanie, a four year Varsity player and letter winner for the Wolves ended her career with a 74/35 win/loss match record. She was one of our FIRST STATE CHAMPIONS as she and her partner, Jessica Jacobsen won the state girls' doubles title in 2005. She was a Divisional Doubles champion in 2006 and finished 2nd at the State Tournament in 2006 teamed up with Leah Gregg. Melanie was awarded the "Top" Doubles player award all four years as a varsity player. She was a good singles player also and a team captain her junior and senior year. Her team took 2nd at Divisionals both here Junior and Senior year and brought home the 3rd place State trophy in 2006. Melanie has also come back to the CBHS tennis program as a volunteer coach. She is once again, sharing her tennis knowledge and helping the program develop into one of the best in the state. The CBHS tennis coaching staff say, "Thank You Melanie!" and Welcome her into the Wolves' Tennis Wall of FAME! |
