| Carl, a four year Varsity player and three time varsity letter winner for the Wolves was a three time ALL-STATE player. Carl finished 4th at Divisional and 5th at the State Tournament in singles when he was a sophomore. In 2008 and 2009 Carl had strong finishes at both Divisional and State but finished 2nd to his team-mate and friend Josh Paulson. During the 2008 State tournament campaign, he was nicknamed "The Nightmare" because of his patient play and determination, no one wanted to play him for fear of losing. He was a team Captain in his Senior season and was awarded the Most Improved Player award in 2007, Most Inspirational in 2008 and Silent Leader in 2009. Carl added a great deal of class to the Wolves teams he played on and was a prime example of Wolves Sportsmanship, Pride & Tradition. The CBHS tennis coaching staff say, "Thank You Carl!" and Welcome him into the Wolves' Tennis Wall of FAME! |
